Managing Cookies

The supplied static pages do not need advertising or analytics cookies to work. Local preparation of a question is separate from storing or sending it.

What these technologies mean

Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to retain and return with later requests. LocalStorage is a separate browser mechanism that can retain information for the same website across visits. Session storage and ordinary page memory have different lifetimes. Whether a technology requires consent depends on its purpose and applicable law, not just its name.

Storage used by the supplied pages

The core website code does not set cookies, write localStorage or sessionStorage, or include third-party advertising and analytics scripts. Navigation and scroll reveals work in page memory. They do not create a visitor profile. Images, scripts and styles are loaded from the website rather than embedded third-party services.

Consent controls and deployment services

If the deployed website presents a separate consent control, use it to choose whether to permit any optional services it describes. Essential services should remain available when optional processing is declined. A preference-management service may store your choice so it can be respected on later visits. Its displayed information should identify any additional storage purposes and durations. The core pages do not rely on optional tracking to provide their content or question tool.

Browser controls

You can inspect and remove site data through your browser’s privacy or site-settings controls. You can also block cookies or use a private browsing session. Removing site data may clear choices saved by a deployment-level preference service, causing it to ask again. Blocking JavaScript prevents the local contact tool from operating, but you can still read the articles and use the visible email address.

Clearing cookies does not necessarily erase downloaded question files, clipboard text, browser autofill or email you have sent. Those are controlled through separate device, browser or email settings.

External websites and updates

When you follow an external research link, the destination may use its own storage technologies. Its policies apply there. We may revise this page if website functionality changes; non-essential technologies should not be activated before any legally required consent. For wider information about personal data and your rights, read the Privacy notice.
